LDS Online Accredited Elementary and Jr. High School
"A Private LDS School Accessible from Your Home"

How it Works

You can expect to spend two to four hours per day - depending on your children’s ages and abilities, and the particular day’s lesson content. The curriculum is written in a five day program, utilizing 160 days of structured instruction, and twenty days of family enrichment. This may translate into Christmas activities, field trips, special research, or family days.

This year we are studying from 1500 b.c. to current time. We focus our studies in history, religion, art and literature to this time period. Our Science topic this year is Chemistry.

We have 4 time periods of study to be done over 4 years of school. Click here for more details.

Give it a try - you will need the parent manual and a student workbook for each child. Print the student workbook and punch and put in a 3-ring binder. Open the parent manual and you can decide if you want to print it, or simply read it from the computer. Upon enrollment you also receive access to the supplement materials which include the pictures/charts that you need to help teach your students and files to print memorization cards.

Our 4 Year Rotation

Our program presents history on a four year rotation basis. Every child in the family studies the same time period each year. Over four years, each student will cover all of the Standard Works and all periods of World and American History. Volumes do not need to be taught in chronological order.

The four year rotation is as follows:
Year One: Pre-existence to 5 B.C. (available Fall 2008)
Year Two: 5 B.C. to 1500 A.D. (grades 1-4 available now)
Year Three: 1500 A.D. to modern Day World History (grades 1-8 available now)
Year Four: American History, Constitution, and L.D.S. Church History (available Fall 2009)
